Found a great site for helping roll up your characters when your DM/GM isn’t around. You know, when you get those great rolls on stats and everyone gives you the eye when you show them and say “I really did roll that!” A lot of online run campaigns use the site for their in-game rolls. Check it out, Invisible Castle.

The Art of GMing
I stumbled on to a great thread over at Dumpshock.com about the art of GMing. So many different ideas on what it takes to make the game fun for both the GM and players. One particular post is worth reading, one by ‘Veracusse’, I don’t agree with everything he stated but I did love the following statement.
“You the GM are aiming for the bull’s eye, while the players are holding (fighting and tugging at) the dartboard. So really, GMing is the art of trying to hit a moving target in the bull’s eye.”
Anyone that has or wants to GM should read that thread as well as some of the articles over at The Forge.
